Spinal Surgery Experince:

• Scoliosis and other spine defromity clinic: Member of team headed by Prof. A Jayaswal running spine deformity clinic at All India Institute of Medical Sciences treated various deformities of spine like scoliosis, kyphosis, tuberculosis as a member of surgical team I have experience of assisting and independently operating 200 cases of scoliosis of various aetiologies.

• Extensive experience in thoracolumbar pedicular screw fixation and anterior instrumentation in the management of above mentioned problems.

• Spinal tuberculosis research: was a member of spinal tuberculosis research team headed by Prof. Jayaswal I was a part of the important and successful research project using vertical titanium mesh cages in filling defect left after debridement of tubercular spondylitis in active spinal tuberculosis.

• As a member of research team headed by Prof. Jayaswal developed a new test for diagnosis of ankylosing spondylosis by measuring SA: GAG ratio.

• Thoracolumbar trauma: Member of team managing thoracolumbar trauma at AIIMS. Extensive experience in thoracic, thoracolumbar, retroperitoneal and posterior approaches and modern instrumentation in management of these injuries.

• Study of pedicular morphometry in North Indian population: were member of research team headed by Prof. A Jayaswal in establishing normal values in thoracic and lumbar pedicle morphometry in North Indian population at AIIMS.

• Minimally invasive spine surgery: was a member of team at AIIMS treating various spinal disorders with MISS technique. Experience in vertebroplasty, endoscopic dissectomy and thoracoscopic anterior debridement and decompression of various pathologies of thoracic spine and thoracoscopic instrumenation of thoracic vertebrae particularly in tuberculosis of spine.

• Extensive experience in surgical management of spondylolisthesis both low and high grade, degenerative disc diseases, spinal instabilities, various disc disorders, lumbar canal stenosis and tumors at thoracolumbar spine.
